Most people who start looking for a tarot card reading have already tried to work the question out on their own. A relationship that keeps circling the same argument, a job that stopped fitting, a decision that slides away every time they get close to it. A reading gives that a shape, and somebody to say it out loud to.

What a reading is

A tarot deck holds 78 illustrated cards, each with its own set of meanings. The reader lays cards out for the question, reads them alongside what you tell them, and builds a picture of what is going on and what might come next. Readings grew out of older divination traditions, and most readers now use them as a way of looking at a life from slightly outside it.

Sessions happen online as often as in person, and a video call does the same work as a table in a back room.

What people bring to a reading

Questions about love come up most often. So do work, money, family, and the feeling of having stalled somewhere. A reading is useful because the cards force the situation into words, and because a good reader notices the part you keep leaving out.

People who come back describe much the same effects: a clearer sense of direction, fewer decisions made in a hurry, and more patience with hard periods.

Finding a reader you can work with

For a reading to land, the reader has to suit you. Experience matters, and so does the way somebody works: whether they explain what they are seeing and whether they ask questions. If nobody local fits, an online reading is the obvious alternative, since you can choose from readers anywhere and still get a full session.

About Mark Mogensen

Mark reads online from Denmark, in English and in Danish. Nearly a decade ago a Kundalini awakening reshaped his life and brought him much closer to his intuitive gifts, and that shows in how he works with people: grounded, warm and unhurried. Clients tend to describe the sessions as a safe space where nothing has to be explained twice and nothing is judged, and renewal is part of what they take away.

What a session looks like

  • Room to talk through the question you brought, in your own words and at your own pace.
  • A reader who listens to the cards and to you, and follows where they lead.
  • Something to take away: a clearer view of the situation and a step you can act on.
